Old Western Culture was designed with both homeschool co-ops and hybrid (2-3 day) schools in mind using the “Recitation Model” (or flipped classroom model). We encourage students to watch the videos at home, allowing class time to be used for classical recitations – discussion, reading aloud, working through the workbook as a group, and Socratic dialogue.

Each group is granted a one-year license (one full academic year).

The academic-year license includes access to printable workbooks and PDF readers in addition to the core video course. Co-ops/Schools may also purchase physical workbooks and readers at a discount (or our new Old Western Culture Companion Series) using a unique discount code for your group. The Old Western Culture Readers are recommended though not required, as students can use various editions of the great books or the included PDFs.
