DVD Products, Streaming, and the Family License.
We don’t want a long list of “small print” here, but rather to list some simple guidelines for the use of our courses.
- Our courses are copyrighted material. Please act in accordance with the law and as Christian brothers and sisters.
- If you purchase a DVD set that has streaming access (like Old Western Culture), you have purchased One Single Family License. When selling DVDs, we include streaming access as a way to serve you better, bridging the gap between the 20th and 21st century. In these cases we want you to have the physical product, but the accessibility and higher quality of a digital product as well. But when bundled, they constitute a single family license. Please don’t abuse this by selling one and keeping the other.
Copying and printing permissions
If a book is consumable, copying is not permitted under copyright law. The exception to this at Roman Roads Press are the Old Western Culture Workbooks and Exams which are included in PDF format with your purchase of the course, and are intended to be printed or copied for single-family use for an unlimited number of family members’ use.
Licensing for Schools or Co-ops
The Family License associated with buying a video course from Roman Roads Press is not intended for multi-student (apart from siblings) use in the context of a school or co-op. Please see our Schools and Coop page for licensing options.
