The Old Western Culture group license activates at the time of purchase so that teachers have time to use the material themselves and prepare classes, and extends through the full following academic year, ending June 30th. Includes access to all 16 units (four years) of the Old Western Culture curriculum. This is not a recurring subscription, and will not automatically renew.

Setting up your Co-op or School:
Step One: Register academic-year license (this page!).
Step Two: Within 24-48 hours, you will receive your group account info by email, and a unique discount code for purchasing any physical components you have decided to use.
Step Three: You will receive a welcome packet in the mail with Student Completion Certificates, a set of bookmarks, and a Commonplace Book for each student.

Old Western Culture was designed with both homeschool co-ops and hybrid (2-3 day) schools in mind using the “Recitation Model” (or flipped classroom model). Students watch the videos at home, allowing class time to be used for classical recitations – discussion, reading aloud, working through the workbook as a group, and Socratic dialogue.

A single username and password for your school ensures easy account access and maintenance.

The academic-year license includes access to printable workbooks and PDF readers in addition to the core video course. Co-ops/Schools may also purchase physical workbooks and readers at a discount. You will receive a welcome email with a unique discount code for physical materials. The Old Western Culture Readers are recommended though not required, as students can use various editions of the great books or the included PDFs.
